"We were visiting Cardiff for the 1st time. We had been to Portugal and loved the cafes. This unexpected gem did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and the tarts were amazing. We had the traditional tarts and I tried the vegan one. Our lattes were perfect. We discovered they have another in Penarth!"

"This place is amazing. They do incredible items, the sausage roll and the vegan counterpart is delicious. The desserts are phenomenal, the Victoria sponge I had today was beautiful, I am a huge fan of their flat white coffee and the apple tarts, nata tarts, lemon and cinnamon roll and more. The staff are just so lovely. I usually takeaway, but today sat in as the storm winds are horrific, its all cozy and soft music playing and just lovely. Don't miss this place if visiting the bay, it is a lovely and unique cafe."

"This place is really special, with lots of delicious options. However, it’s very disappointing they only have one vegan option in the whole cafe, and it’s a sausage roll… When asking the staff why they can’t include more vegan options, she said it’s not popular at the moment. I think they’re missing a trick. Or not recognising the importance of catering for all people… I would normally rate this attitude lower, but since the non-vegan desserts are actually delicious, they only lose one star for being behind the times."

"What a lovely little spot. Great selection of pastries and food, the coffee was great, and loved the decor - it felt very homey and authentic. But probably the best part about this was the owner, what a kind and lovely fellow! Highly recommend."

"I visited this charming Portuguese coffee shop and was blown away by the delicious treats! The pastel de nata was perfectly flaky and the custard was creamy and divine. I also tried other pastries as well, which was equally amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a taste of authentic Portuguese pastries!"
